By Michael Alexander When you load data from an external data source into Power Pivot, you essentially create a static snapshot of that data source at the time of creation.

You can update this by clicking on the Pivot Table and then choosing Options Change Data Source, but it’s an additional task to remember and if you have multiple pivot tables pulling from the same data range it is quite time consuming.

Click the drop-down arrow below it to see two options: Refresh and Refresh All.
